I wouldn’t have liked those either.
I dislike folk. Well, most folk.

I have to respect the chumbas for just doing whatever the hell they like, and as folk goes, their new album seems well done etc. its still folk though, and I don’t really like it. Apart from a couple of tracks which were ok.
I dislike people singing -oh after random words, like dead-oh, and alive, alive-oh.
It’s a bit crap-oh.

I refer anyone who believes me narrow-minded to my liking for Rory Mcleod. I must track down Travelling Home (1992) again. It’s been a while. In fact, people should just have a listen anyway.

I do believe my migraine is slinking off. I am having a particularly long post-migraine phase though, with funny vision and general brain fog.

Chumbawumba did an album in 1988 called English Rebel Songs which was a cappella and featured largely traditional English folk songs… so I guess there were precendents. Plus according to wikipedia they re-recorded and re-released it in 2003. Does that make it double precendents?
