The second in the series of dreamscapes. This corridoor did have symbols on every slab, but couldn’t remember any others when I drew it so left them blank. If you look at the end of the corridoor it seems to twist slightly. This is not just my crappy perspective skills, thats how I remembered it, and it was far more disturbing looking at it in 3d trust me…

Wow, that’s some image! Have you by any chance read any Jung? Makes me think of some of the stuff from Stargate – SG1, but I am a dross TV (and SF TV) addict, so maybe you don’t watch that.

Popped over from Sisyphus, just so you know. Sorry you are having difficult times too.

Hope to catch up more on your blog, but prob need to get back to bed for a while, so it’ll prob be tomorrow (or later if “life happens” as it seems to be doing too much at present!).

    Best wishes from Liverpool

I have started to read Jung several times and then my brain power dwindled and I failed.
I can only read intelligent books whilst sitting around in cafes, and I don;t get to do enough of that anymore.
I did read a biography of Jung a while back.
I never got into Stargate SG1. I found it just a bit twee, like Star Trek. Not to say I don’t have a weakness for SF TV, but I lean more towards stuff like Firefly, Babylon 5 (although some of that was too twee for me but the politics is good), and more recently started watching BSG, which I love, again for the politics and the amusing and somewhat hazy moral conundrums of trying to draw lines between robots and humans. I’d ignored it for years due to the obvious connections in my head to the old version which although entertaining as a child was just pure dross.
Interestingly these drawings, of which I should get around to posting the next, are pretty much the only time I’ve ever done any drawing. Never felt the urge to do it before or after. So basically pure subconscious leaking out. Into the public eye. Erm. Oh well, only mad people are going to come here cos they come via other mad peoples blogs…yay for the mad gang.

Frightening and interesting Ferret. The duality is showing. Some of the figures are screaming for life, while others are death and destruction. A dual personality perhaps….feel free to delete my comments. ( You may want to)

I think you might be confused as to what some of the symbols represent…some of them have been around for a very long time and have older meanings than their current associations.
Try not to look with pre-programmed eyes chrys.
